SIGPRO Super Softy 4x6' Single Sided Golf Mat
Description
The SIGPRO Super Softy 4x6' Single Sided Golf Mat is a compact, performance-focused hitting mat designed for golfers who want a premium feel with every swing. Built around the SIGPRO XL Softy hitting strip insert, this mat delivers a noticeably softer, more realistic turf feel compared to standard golf mats. Its single-sided layout features one stance section and one Super Softy insert, keeping the footprint manageable while maximizing the hitting surface that matters most.
Two standout upgrades set this mat apart from the original SIGPRO lineup: the extra-long XL Softy insert and a rubber tile base construction for enhanced stability during use. Whether you're practicing in a garage, basement, or home studio, the Super Softy is built to stay planted and perform shot after shot.
Key Features
- SIGPRO XL Softy Insert: Measures 12 inches wide and 48 inches long - a full-length hitting strip that gives you more room to work with on every swing.
- Super Softy Feel: The signature SIGPRO Super Softy insert material provides a soft, realistic turf response that is easier on wrists and clubs compared to firm mats.
- Rubber Tile Base Design: The base is constructed with a rubber tile design for added stability, keeping the mat firmly in place during practice.
- Compact 4x6' Footprint: At 4 feet by 6 feet, this mat fits easily in home practice spaces without sacrificing performance.
- Single Stance Section: Includes one dedicated stance section alongside the hitting insert, giving you a natural, realistic setup position.
- Upgraded Over the Original: Two key improvements over the standard SIGPRO mat - the XL Softy insert size and the rubber tile base - make this a meaningful step up.
- Single Sided Design: Streamlined layout keeps the mat focused on what matters - a quality hitting surface and stable stance area.
What's Included
- SIGPRO Super Softy 4x6' Single Sided Golf Mat
- SIGPRO XL Softy hitting strip insert (12" x 48")
Why You'll Love It
The Super Softy is one of those mats that you notice immediately underfoot and at impact - it just feels right. The XL Softy insert's generous 48-inch length gives you a realistic turf experience across a wide hitting zone, so you're not constantly repositioning. The rubber tile base means no sliding or shifting mid-session, even on smooth garage or basement floors. Compared to the original SIGPRO design, these upgrades translate directly into a more consistent and comfortable practice session. If you've ever dealt with a mat that felt too stiff, too small, or too unstable, the Super Softy is a direct answer to all of those frustrations. It's a compact mat that punches well above its size.

FAQ
How does the Super Softy insert differ from a standard mat surface?
The SIGPRO Super Softy insert is specifically designed to be softer and more forgiving than typical golf mat turf. This means less vibration and strain on your wrists and elbows at impact, and a feel that more closely mimics hitting off natural grass. It's a meaningful difference you'll notice right away.
Will this mat slide around on a hard floor?
The rubber tile base design is built specifically to resist sliding and shifting during use. It provides a stable platform on hard surfaces like concrete, wood, or tile - common flooring in garages, basements, and home studios.
Is the XL Softy insert replaceable?
SIGPRO mats are designed with replaceable inserts in mind, which is one of the advantages of their modular mat system. We recommend contacting us directly to confirm insert availability and compatibility for this specific model.
Is this mat suitable for use with a golf simulator?
Yes - the 4x6' footprint and stable rubber tile base make it a great option for home golf simulator setups. The full-length 48" XL Softy insert gives you plenty of hitting surface, and the mat stays flat and secure during use.
What clubs can I use with this mat?
The SIGPRO Super Softy mat is suitable for use with all clubs, including drivers, irons, and wedges. The soft insert surface is particularly forgiving on iron and wedge shots where divot-taking is part of your natural swing.
