Description
The SIGPRO Super Softy 4' x 8'4" Double Sided Golf Mat is a premium hitting mat designed for commercial golf facilities that need to serve both right- and left-handed golfers with equal performance. Built around a center stance area flanked by two SIGPRO XL Softy hitting strips, this mat lets golfers of either hand orientation step up and swing without any reconfiguration. The oversized XL Softy strips measure an impressive 12 inches wide and 48 inches long, delivering a generous, forgiving hitting surface with every shot. Beneath it all, the base is constructed from a rubber tile design that provides the extra stability needed in high-traffic, commercial environments. Whether you're outfitting a golf simulator bay, a range, or a practice facility, this mat is engineered to hold up and perform day after day.

Why You'll Love It
The SIGPRO Super Softy is built for facilities that take their practice setups seriously, combining a thoughtful double-sided layout with upgraded materials that outperform the original. The XL Softy hitting strips are noticeably larger than standard inserts, giving golfers a comfortable, confidence-inspiring surface to swing from every time. The rubber tile base is a standout upgrade - it keeps the mat locked in place under repeated use, which is exactly what a busy commercial space needs. It's a smart, durable investment that keeps both right- and left-handed players happy without any fuss.

FAQ
Can both right- and left-handed golfers use this mat?
Yes - that's exactly what this mat is designed for. The center stance area has a SIGPRO XL Softy hitting strip on each side, so right- and left-handed golfers can both use the mat without any adjustment or repositioning.
What makes the XL Softy strips different from standard hitting strips?
The SIGPRO XL Softy strips measure 12 inches wide and 48 inches long, making them significantly larger than typical hitting strip inserts. This gives golfers a more forgiving, realistic hitting surface and reduces the chance of catching the edge of the strip during a swing.
Is this mat suitable for home use or is it only for commercial settings?
While this mat is built to handle the demands of commercial environments like driving ranges and simulator bays, it works just as well in a home garage, basement, or backyard setup. The rubber tile base and durable construction simply mean it will last even longer under lighter residential use.
Does the mat stay in place during use?
Yes. The rubber tile base design is specifically engineered to provide extra stability and prevent the mat from sliding, even during powerful swings. This is one of the key upgrades over the original SIGPRO Golf Mat design.
Can I replace the hitting strip inserts when they wear out?
The SIGPRO XL Softy hitting strips are designed as inserts, which means they can be replaced independently when they show wear - without having to replace the entire mat. This makes the Super Softy a cost-effective long-term solution for busy facilities.
