SIGPRO Softy Lite 4x5' Golf Mat
Description
The SIGPRO Softy Lite 4x5' Golf Mat is a compact, single-sided golf hitting mat designed for golfers who want a quality practice surface without the bulk. At just 1-1/4" thick, it's noticeably lighter and slimmer than the Original SIGPRO Softy, making it a great choice for anyone who values easy storage and portability. The seamless design gives it a clean, polished look while eliminating the visible seams found on multi-section mats.
Built around a two-component construction - the mat itself and a hitting strip topped with premium putting turf - the Softy Lite delivers a smooth, consistent practice surface. It rolls up easily for storage, so it works just as well in a living room or garage as it does in a dedicated practice space. If you want a no-fuss mat that's ready to use and easy to put away, this is it.
Key Features
- Seamless Design: Single-piece construction with no visible seams - cleaner look and easier to store than multi-section mats.
- Premium Putting Turf Hitting Strip: The hitting strip features a top layer of premium putting turf for a realistic practice feel.
- Slim 1-1/4" Profile: Thinner than the Original Softy (which is 2-3/8" thick), making this mat lighter and more manageable.
- Rollable and Portable: Designed to roll up easily for compact storage or transport.
- Single-Sided Construction: Clean, focused design built around one quality practice surface.
- Two-Component Build: Comprises just two parts - the golf mat and the hitting strip - for a streamlined setup.
- 4' x 5' Size: Generous hitting area that fits comfortably in a home or garage practice setup.
- No Real Tee Use: The premium putting turf hitting strip is not designed to accept a real tee - use a rubber tee or practice without a tee.
Options & Which to Choose
- SIGPRO Softy Lite: At 1-1/4" thick with a seamless design and premium putting turf hitting strip, the Softy Lite is ideal for golfers who prioritize portability, easy storage, and a slim profile. Note that the putting turf hitting strip cannot accept a real tee, so this mat suits players who practice with rubber tees or without a tee entirely.
- SIGPRO Original Softy: At 2-3/8" thick with a teeline turf hitting strip that CAN accept a real tee, the Original Softy is the better pick for golfers who want a more substantial mat and the ability to use real tees during practice. It has a multi-section design with visible seams.
What's Included
- SIGPRO Softy Lite Golf Mat (4' x 5')
- Hitting strip (premium putting turf top layer)
Why You'll Love It
The Softy Lite is built for golfers who want a quality practice mat that doesn't take over the room. The seamless construction keeps things looking sharp and eliminates the fuss of aligning multiple sections every time you practice. Premium putting turf on the hitting strip gives you a consistent, realistic surface to work on your ball-striking. FAQ
Can I use a real tee with the SIGPRO Softy Lite?
No - the Softy Lite's hitting strip features premium putting turf, which is not designed to accept a real wooden or plastic tee. If you want to practice with a tee, you'll need to use a rubber tee, or consider the Original SIGPRO Softy, which has a teeline turf hitting strip that can take a real tee.
How does the Softy Lite compare to the Original SIGPRO Softy?
The main differences are thickness, design, and tee compatibility. The Softy Lite is 1-1/4" thick with a seamless two-component design, while the Original Softy is 2-3/8" thick and made up of multiple sections that show seams. The Original Softy also uses teeline turf on the hitting strip, allowing real tee use - the Softy Lite does not. The Softy Lite is lighter and easier to store.
Can the mat be rolled up for storage?
Yes - the SIGPRO Softy Lite is specifically designed to roll up for easy storage. Its slim 1-1/4" profile makes it lighter and more manageable than thicker mats, so it's a great fit for home setups where space is limited.
What size is the Softy Lite mat?
The SIGPRO Softy Lite measures 4 feet wide by 5 feet long, with an overall thickness of 1-1/4 inches. It provides a generous hitting area suitable for full swing practice at home or in a garage.
Is any assembly required?
No assembly is required. The Softy Lite arrives as a two-component set - the golf mat and the hitting strip - that simply lays flat and is ready to use right out of the box.
