FAQ
How does the gel hitting section differ from a standard turf mat?
Standard hitting mats are made from dense foam or rubber topped with synthetic turf, which can produce a hard, jarring impact and mask poor ball-striking. The True Strike gel section is engineered to compress and rebound like actual turf, giving you honest feedback on your strike quality while absorbing shock - so your joints are protected and your results are more representative of real on-course performance.
Can this mat be used outdoors?
Yes. The True Strike Single Model is designed for both indoor studios and outdoor driving ranges. Its durable construction handles regular exposure to outdoor conditions, and the 112 lb weight keeps it stable on any flat surface without additional anchoring.
Is assembly required, and how difficult is setup?
The mat is designed to be portable and easy to assemble. All components - including the stance sections, edge trim, ball tray, and tee receiver - are included in the box. Setup is straightforward and does not require any special tools.
How does this mat ship?
The True Strike Single Model Hitting Mat ships free. Due to its size and 112 lb weight, please reach out to us for a delivery ETA and to confirm shipping details before your order arrives.
Is this mat suitable for a home golf simulator setup?
Absolutely. At 77" wide by 52" long, it fits comfortably in most garage or basement simulator bays. The gel hitting zone delivers the realistic turf feel and accurate launch/spin data that simulator software relies on, making it one of the best mat choices for a home simulator station.
