FAQ
Can I use this mat with a driver?
The True Strike Impact Model is optimized for long irons through wedges. However, the system is modular and expandable - you can add a driver module to your setup later if you want to extend your practice to full driver swings.
Is this mat suitable for low-ceiling spaces?
Yes - that's one of the key design goals of the Impact Model. Its compact 52" x 52" footprint and focus on irons and wedges make it a great fit for garages, basements, and other indoor spaces where ceiling height may limit a full swing with longer clubs.
How does the True Strike gel section feel compared to a standard mat?
The True Strike gel section is specifically engineered to replicate natural turf impact, giving you realistic feedback on your divot pattern and strike quality. Unlike foam or artificial turf mats that can mask poor contact, the gel zone reacts more like real fairway grass - making it a much better training tool for improving ball striking.
Can I expand this mat setup in the future?
Absolutely. The True Strike system is fully modular. You can add stance sections, additional gel sections, ball trays, and driver modules over time to build out a larger, more complete hitting station without replacing your existing setup.
Does the mat need to be anchored or will it stay in place on its own?
At 83 lbs, the mat provides substantial stability during use and is designed to stay firmly in place while you swing. It does not require anchoring for standard indoor practice sessions.
