FAQ
What makes the True Strike gel section different from a standard mat surface?
The patented gel hitting section is designed to replicate the feel of striking a real fairway lie. Unlike foam or rubber mats that can mask poor contact, the gel surface moves naturally under the clubhead, giving you honest feedback on your strike quality - helping you build better habits over time.
Is this mat compatible with launch monitors like TrackMan or Foresight GCQuad?
Yes. The True Strike Academy Model is a favorite companion for TrackMan, Foresight GCQuad, FlightScope, and similar launch monitor setups. Its stable, full-swing platform and realistic surface ensure your data is as accurate and repeatable as possible during every session.
Can this mat be used outdoors as well as indoors?
Yes, the Academy Model is constructed for both indoor and outdoor use. Its durable modular build is designed to handle the demands of high-traffic teaching environments and can be used on a range, in a bay, or inside a studio.
Is assembly required, and how does the mat ship?
The mat ships free. Given its size (52" x 80") and weight (134 lbs), please contact us for specific delivery details and an estimated arrival date before placing your order. Some assembly of components may be required upon arrival.
Does the gel section need to be replaced over time?
The modular build of the Academy Model means that individual components, including the gel section, are interchangeable. This design allows you to replace worn parts rather than the entire mat, making it a smart long-term investment for high-use facilities and dedicated home setups alike.
